Cycle of Bayanihan

For MTB pro Samantha Soriano the Philippines are more than just another mountain biking destination: Born and raised in the US, she has never been to the birth country of her father. With her bike and a ton of curiosity in tow she takes on the journey to discover her roots and find not one but two families - her own relatives and a growing mountain biking community.

This trip is almost like figuring out this lost part of myself.

A mountain biker performing a spectacular jump over a hill in a forested area. The rider is wearing protective gear and a helmet, with the sun shining through the trees, bathing the forest in warm light.
Two young women wearing full-face helmets are smiling in an outdoor setting with trees in the background. The person on the left is wearing a dark jersey, and the person on the right is wearing a purple shirt and spotted gloves.
An older woman in a patterned top stands smiling at an open gate, talking to a younger woman who is looking at her. The scene takes place in an alley with house walls and a tree in the background.
A person wearing a helmet sits on the beach next to a mountain bike, looking out at the sea as the sun sets behind the clouds. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed.
